This is an entry i posted about a year ago. I love my answer. SO TRUE.

I’m going to answer this question that many people have asked me before: Why do you like Batman so much?

Because Batman is personal. He fights crime and most of the time, he fights his inner demons on a very deep level. He holds many strong beliefs and principles and constantly fights to live by it. Many times in our lives we reach certain crossroads, and there is a choice between choosing the easier way out (even though sometimes it may not be easy at all, just easier) and choosing to act on what you believe in and struggle with it. Batman chooses the latter, so do I. Life has proved to me that by living by that choice, most of the time, you don’t even get what you were working so hard towards, but what matters at the end of the day is that you know you made the right choice and you stuck by it. You believed in the ideas you preach and live by it. That builds character and makes you learn about yourself more and you know what you’re actually made of. That, to some people, don’t mean a lot as compared to doing what’s ‘normal’ or ‘by right’. It all comes down to choices and personality, there’s no right or wrong as to what you believe in or what you don’t believe in. What matters is that you know you have lived an actual life. One that you can proudly say to yourself was good despite everything.

Japan to release a coloured Batman statue for Arkham City’s Collectors’ Edition

Just like always, Japan has to have the most special of common things. And in this case, they will be receiving a coloured version of the Batman statue for the Collector’s Edition of Arkham City.

This launches in November for Japan, a month later than the rest of the world. They say the statues are more or less the same, only coloured. But who are they kidding? The coloured version is so much more detailed! Especially the cape! Curses!!!!!

Real Superheroes?

As mentioned in comic vine, there are ‘real superheroes’ in the U.S. and are even registered! I don’t really understand their concept of a ‘superhero’, let alone needing to register to be one. But HBO has a documentary on them. Here’s the trailer.

Hello! it’s been quite a while I realized, and while nothing has been going on here, lots have been going on in the Nolan’s Batman universe, e.g. The Cat suit.

However this post is about Arkham City’s new character concept art: Solomon Grundy! Poor Solomon Grundy. At least now he gets a little of the lime light for once!

He looks too much of a zombie in my opinion. I was kinda expecting Grundy in the comic world look.

Speaking of Arkham City, there is also a limited collectors’ edition release of the game.

The contents are as follows…

The CE includes a Batman statue by Kotobukiya, an artbook, a downloadable soundtrack, early access to the “Iceberg Lounge Challenge Map” and a Dark Knight Returns-style skin, and a copy of the Batman: Gotham Knight animated movie.

First Dark Knight Rises Poster + Superman Logo Conspiracy Details

By now you may have already seen the Dark Knight Rises teaser poster circulating it’s way around the internet faster than a racy celebrity photo, but I decided to post it anyway because a) it looks so good on our homepage and b) there’s a new Superman logo conspiracy going down that’s worth noting. I played around in Photoshop and am actually intrigued.

Ok, the poster itself…awesome, picking up steam though is the Superman logo conspiracy, which I heard about here first at BleedingCool.com. Some people are claiming that the logo to the new Superman movie/franchise Man of Steel, which Christopher Nolan is a producer of, can be seen blurred out in the bottom left corner of the poster.

My instinct tells me to ignore most movie rumors/conspiracies; however, that looks a lot like a freaking Superman logo.

It’s also worth noting that the official Dark Knight Rises website has been updated to show an enlarged image of the poster and in place of where the Superman logo may or may not appear on the actual poster the website’s version has it nowhere to be seen.

Veeeeery interesting.

Either way the argument for a tease within a tease is quite compelling. The image looks a lot like a Superman logo and it’s absence from the website gives fuel to the idea of someone somewhere covering something up. The marketing team behind these movies has made headlines before and it certainly wouldn’t be out of their character to add a blurry Superman logo in the wreckage of a teaser poster.

The important thing is…were getting a new Christopher Nolan Batman movie next summer and after that, Superman.

The less important thing…that rrrreeeallly looks like a Superman logo.
